Our staff all hold the relevant qualifications and undergone specific training courses in safeguarding. We take pride in their dedication to ensuring that every individual under our care experiences an atmosphere of safety and enjoyment. Here, the 'fun-first' mentality is not just a phrase; it's a commitment etched into the very fabric of our club's philosophy.

Delving into the finer details, we invite you to explore our comprehensive safeguarding policies, aligning with the latest legislations established by Snowsport England. These policies serve as the bedrock of our commitment to staying abreast of best practices and ensuring the well-being of our athletes remains paramount.

Reporting an incident

At UNIQ Snowsports, we prioritise the safety and well-being of every individual within our community. Recognising the importance of vigilance in safeguarding, we want to emphasise that it is not your responsibility to determine whether a child or adult has experienced abuse, but rather, your duty is to promptly report any concerns you may have.

For children, there exists a legal obligation to share concerns, regardless of permission, with or without the consent of the child or their parents. In the case of adults, reporting typically requires their consent, although there are instances where informing the Club Welfare Officer is necessary, even without consent.

Should you believe that a child or adult is in immediate danger, we urge you to contact the police or emergency services by dialing 999.

To report a concern within the UNIQ Snowsports community, please get in touch with Naomi on the details above - she will promptly respond, engaging in a confidential and supportive discussion to guide you through the appropriate steps that need to be taken. Your commitment to maintaining a secure and nurturing environment within our club is paramount, and we appreciate your diligence in contributing to the well-being of our community members.
